One of the fastest growing, exciting FMCG manufacturing and distribution company based in Qatar is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for International Markets with experience in developing processed meat products in the International Markets with special focus on appointing the distributors and developing the business across various international markets. Based out in Qatar, reporting directly to the group CEO, you will be the face of the company for international markets and aggressively opening the market for company products.

The role primarily involves you utilizing your existing, extensive customer network to further develop business partnerships with retailers, distributors, airlines, wholesalers, HORECA, Institutions, Catering in International markets through the exclusive distributor appointed for each country to drive the sales of company processed meat product range.

The role is destined for an experienced, hungry, dynamic individual looking for their next exciting role. The successful candidate must be well presented, able to think on their feet and relentless in their pursuit of incremental sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Responsible for developing the complete range of products of the company in various international markets
2. 2. You will be opening international markets for the company and appointing distributors for each market
3. 3. Work closely with the distributor sales force and ensure 100% distribution and superior visibility all across the trade channels.
4. 4. Acquire new accounts, contracts with institutions, airlines and hospitality sector etc. through the distributor
5. 5. Develop activity plan/calendar in close alignment with the Marketing head of the company and drive incremental business.
6. 6. Assist the distributors salesforce to Negotiate contracts with Key customers and secure excellent visibility for the products.

Requirements

1. 1. Minimum 5 years selling experience and experience in working closely with the distributors and developing the business. Experience in Meat processed product is highly preferred
2. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience working closely with the international FMCG distributors
3. 3. Experience of appointing distributors in GCC, African Markets (not limited) for meat processed products is mandatory
4. 4. Very well connected with Major Key retailors and Wholesalers in various international markets
5. 5. Track record of building distribution and visibility of the products across various international markets. Strong negotiation skills required.
6. 6. Good leadership quality and a good communicator. Very good at communicating in English and Arabic preferred

8. 8. Management graduates preferred with GCC driving license.
